Kronborg Castle and Fortress

Over the past six years Erik Møller Arkitekter AS has headed a number of restoration assignments at Kronborg (Hamlet’s Castle).

Among other things, the drawing office has worked intensively on the restoration of the 1.5 km long fortification structure, the Crown Work Rampart, the intact progression of which forms the borderline with Elsinore State Port and the shipyard area. In addition, the drawing office has reworked ”The Great Casemate”, one of its remits being to identify and re-create the profile of the original earthworks.
