The Royal Theatre - The Turbine Halls
Two disused transformer halls in Adelgade belonging to the Lighting Department of Copen-hagen have been converted into experimental stages for the Royal Theatre. From the atrium, stairs descend to a large foyer created in the old accumulator basement, and from here you ascend into the two giant halls. In an adjacent building, functions for actors have been installed.
